Local legend Marion Warren captured the mystery and the magic of the Bay Bridge with his iconic photographs. But for us, the bridge is something more — it’s the gateway to Maryland’s Eastern Shore, and crossing it is emblematic of heading off to carefree times spent with friends and family in the picturesque communities that dot the landscape.
Geography has been kind to the Eastern Shore, with lush farmlands and scenic waterways. So no wonder so many Eastern Shore restaurants boast farm-to-fork and boat-to-table fare, for an abundance of fresh local produce and seafood are close at hand.
Queen Anne’s County When Annapolitans dine on the Eastern Shore, they often visit one of the popular restaurants in the Kent Narrows area of Queen Anne’s County. For example, for more than 50 years, many trips to the beach include stops at Holly’s and Dolle’s.
